Business Process Review
The challenges faced in building Magic around today's Business Optimization requirements involve having both the system configured to meet specific requirements and the planning around growing it to meet future requirements. Gaining an understanding of how your system in configured and what your challenges are is the first step in maximizing the full value of your investment.

Through PEOPLE, PROCESS and PRODUCT, RJR Innovations directly and indirectly impacts and contributes to an organizations Value Stream by enabling IT organizations to contribute to their organizations business objectives. Efficient Business Optimization and product utilization will contribute to an organizations decision-making process, thus contributing to an organizations core product.

The RJR Innovations Business Process discovery phases will describes core "As Is" and "To Be" business processes used to manage the lifecycle within your business environment.

From a business process perspective, the focus of this initial phase of the project is to understand and document the "As is" processes and opportunities for improvement (short and long term). Minor changes and analysis of the "As is" processes are being recommended in the form of "To be" processes. The primary goal of the "To be" processes is to maintain the accuracy and align all current process flows for the current Incident and Change Management systems.

These processes will take into account:

1. Workflow automation and additional system integrations
   
   
2. Opportunities for policy / procedural changes
   
   
3. Direct access to the Magic repository for all stakeholders

Longer term "To be" processes will be defined in the next phase of the project.
